Pre-Order and Reservation Policy
1. Introduction
This Pre-Order and Reservation Policy governs all pre-order reservations, edition requests, contribution submissions, allocation processes, and related reservation matters for RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition.
By submitting a reservation, making a payment, requesting a serial number, applying for private placement, registering institutional interest, or participating in any related reservation process, you agree to this Policy together with the Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy, and any other applicable policies issued by the RIMAU 1925 team.
2. Nature of the Pre-Order
RIMAU 1925 The Founder's Edition is a pre-order publication currently in development.
At the time pre-order reservations open, the final publication may still be undergoing editorial development, design refinement, content approval, artwork preparation, production planning, printing specification, packaging development, authentication setup, and fulfilment planning.
A reservation does not mean that the final publication is immediately ready for delivery.
3. Purpose of the Reservation
The reservation process allows collectors, patrons, families, companies, institutions, foundations, libraries, embassies, organisations, and supporters to secure an intended place within the official numbered edition sequence, subject to availability, confirmation, allocation, payment, verification, and approval by the RIMAU 1925 team.
Reservations also support the wider journey of RIMAU 1925, including the development, visualisation, production preparation, and legacy-building efforts connected to the motion picture.
4. Edition Categories
The available edition categories may include:
The First 300 Signature Reserve
Serial Numbers 0001 to 0300 By private placement, auction, or special release
The Founding Patron Edition
Serial Numbers 0301 to 1924 Contribution: RM19,250 per edition
The Dedication Copies
Serial Numbers 1925 and 1926 Reserved respectively for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and Tun Dr Hasmah Mohamad Ali
The Numbered Collector's Edition
Serial Numbers 1927 – 9999 General pre-order
The RIMAU 1925 team reserves the right to update, refine, suspend, close, or restructure any edition category where necessary, provided that confirmed reservations are handled according to the applicable reservation terms.
5. Reservation Submission
To submit a reservation, you may be required to provide:
- Full name
- Email address
- Mobile number
- Country and state
- Individual, family, company, foundation, institution, organisation, or private collector status
- Selected edition category
- Recognition name, where applicable
- Privacy preference
- Billing information
- Delivery information
- Preferred serial number request, where applicable
- Payment details or proof of payment
- Any other information required for verification, allocation, fulfilment, recognition, or compliance purposes
Submission of incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or unverifiable information may delay or prevent confirmation of your reservation.
6. Reservation Confirmation
A reservation is only confirmed when the RIMAU 1925 team has accepted the reservation, verified the necessary information, confirmed the relevant edition category, and confirmed payment or approved payment arrangement.
An automated email, form submission acknowledgement, payment attempt, or enquiry response does not by itself guarantee confirmation of a reservation, serial number, edition category, recognition benefit, autograph, event invitation, or any other privilege.
7. Serial Number Allocation
Serial numbers are allocated by the RIMAU 1925 team.
Requests for preferred serial numbers may be submitted but are not guaranteed.
Certain serial numbers may be reserved for dedication, auction, private placement, institutional presentation, special release, internal allocation, Founding Patron allocation, or other project-related purposes.
Confirmed serial number allocation will be communicated through official written confirmation.
8. The First 300 Signature Reserve
Serial numbers 0001 to 0300 are reserved for the First 300 Signature Reserve.
These editions may be allocated through private placement, auction, special release, institutional presentation, or selected collector allocation.
Requests for Signature Reserve access may be reviewed individually. Submission of interest does not guarantee allocation.
Selected copies within this range may be personally autographed, subject to timing, access, health, approval, and production readiness. Autographed copies are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
9. The Founding Patron Edition
Serial numbers 0301 to 1924 are reserved for the Founding Patron Edition.
The contribution for each Founding Patron Edition is RM19,250 per edition, unless otherwise officially stated.
Each confirmed Founding Patron Edition reservation may include a premium numbered copy, Certificate of Authenticity, official verification record, selected recognition, and privileges connected to the RIMAU 1925 journey, subject to the Terms and Conditions and relevant policies.
Founding Patrons may request recognition under an individual name, family name, company name, foundation name, institution name, organisation name, or private collector status, subject to approval and privacy preferences.
10. The Dedication Copies
Serial number 1925 is reserved as a dedication copy for Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.
Serial number 1926 is reserved as a dedication copy for Tun Dr Hasmah Mohamad Ali.
These copies are not available for public reservation, contribution, purchase, auction, transfer, or allocation unless otherwise determined by the RIMAU 1925 team.
11. The Numbered Collector's Edition
Copies from serial number 1927 to 9999 will form part of the wider Numbered Collector's Edition.
Each copy will remain individually numbered, authenticated, and issued with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The Numbered Collector's Edition will not carry the same level of recognition, privileges, registered provenance features, or access reserved for the Signature Reserve, Founding Patron Edition, and Dedication Copies.
Pricing, payment method, delivery details, and availability for the Numbered Collector's Edition may be announced separately.
12. Payment
All payments must be made through official payment methods approved by the RIMAU 1925 team.
Payment may be processed through Stripe, bank transfer, invoice, or other authorised payment channels.
Any bank charges, payment gateway fees, foreign exchange charges, taxes, duties, or third-party transaction charges may be borne by the purchaser or contributor unless otherwise stated.
A payment is not considered complete until it is successfully received, cleared, verified, and recorded by the RIMAU 1925 team.
13. Payment Failure or Delay
If payment is unsuccessful, incomplete, delayed, reversed, disputed, or flagged for review, the reservation may be held, suspended, cancelled, reassigned, or subject to further verification.
The RIMAU 1925 team may set payment deadlines for certain edition categories. Failure to complete payment within the required timeframe may result in the release of the reserved edition or serial number.
14. Recognition Details
Where recognition is included, patrons may be asked to submit the preferred recognition name and privacy preference before a stated deadline.
Recognition names are subject to approval.
The RIMAU 1925 team may reject, amend, or request revision of any recognition name that is inaccurate, offensive, misleading, defamatory, unlawful, politically inappropriate, commercially unsuitable, reputationally sensitive, or inconsistent with the dignity of the project.
If recognition details are submitted late, incomplete, or not approved before relevant deadlines, they may not appear in certain materials, including credit rolls, supporter pages, certificates, printed materials, or event programmes.
15. Pre-Order Development and Changes
Because The Founder's Edition is currently in development, final content, design, page count, format, production materials, paper stock, binding, packaging, memorabilia, certificate design, QR code placement, fulfilment method, delivery schedule, recognition details, and selected privileges may be subject to change.
The RIMAU 1925 team reserves the right to make changes where necessary due to creative development, editorial judgement, production requirements, approvals, printing limitations, supplier availability, legal considerations, quality control, or operational needs.
16. Delivery Timeline
Estimated delivery timelines will be announced when the publication schedule, content approval process, printing arrangements, packaging production, authentication setup, and fulfilment planning are sufficiently confirmed.
Any estimated delivery date is not guaranteed unless expressly stated in writing.
Delays may occur due to creative development, interview approval, artwork preparation, script development, production schedules, printing, shipping, customs clearance, supplier delays, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.
17. Delivery Details
Purchasers and patrons are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.
If delivery details change, the RIMAU 1925 team should be notified through the official update channel before fulfilment.
The RIMAU 1925 team will not be responsible for failed delivery, additional costs, loss, delay, or misdelivery caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or unverifiable delivery information provided by the purchaser or patron.
18. International Orders
International reservations and deliveries may be subject to additional shipping costs, customs duties, import taxes, handling charges, insurance, documentation requirements, and delivery timelines.
Such costs may be borne by the purchaser or recipient unless otherwise stated.
The RIMAU 1925 team is not responsible for customs delays, import restrictions, local taxes, duties, or clearance issues in the recipient's country.
19. Reservation Changes
Requests to change reservation details, edition category, recognition name, delivery address, billing information, or other submitted details must be made through the official communication channel.
Approval of changes is subject to verification, administrative feasibility, payment status, production stage, recognition deadlines, edition availability, and fulfilment progress.
20. Multiple Reservations
Individuals, families, companies, foundations, institutions, and organisations may request multiple reservations, subject to availability, payment confirmation, allocation rules, and approval.
For multiple reservations, institutional acquisition, corporate patronage, or special allocation requests, the RIMAU 1925 team may contact the applicant directly to complete the reservation process.
21. Cancellation
Cancellation requests are governed by the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Certain confirmed reservations, private placement allocations, auction allocations, customised recognition arrangements, or special serial number allocations may be non-cancellable or subject to administrative charges once confirmed.
22. No Investment or Profit Participation
A pre-order reservation, contribution, or purchase of The Founder's Edition does not constitute an investment in Kr8iv Sdn Bhd, Imaginaria Studios, the RIMAU 1925 motion picture, or any related entity.
No purchaser, patron, collector, institution, or supporter shall receive equity, revenue share, profit participation, production control, distribution rights, intellectual property ownership, or financial return unless separately agreed in a formal written agreement signed by authorised parties.
23. Acceptance of Policy
By submitting a reservation, making payment, requesting serial number allocation, registering institutional interest, or participating in any related pre-order process, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Pre-Order and Reservation Policy.
