1. Introduction

The RIMAU 1925 Heritage Shop offers exclusive collectibles, limited editions, and memorabilia that celebrate RIMAU 1925: The Birth of the Asian Tiger and the life and legacy of Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

This Collector’s Authenticity & Verification Policy explains how all RIMAU 1925 products — physical and digital — are authenticated, serialized, and verified to ensure genuine ownership and long-term collectible value.

This policy applies to all merchandise, commemorative pieces, and collaborations released under:

• The Rimau 1925 Heritage Series
• The Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad 100 Years Commemorative Series
• Any official collaboration or limited-edition product offered through Rimau1925.com

2. Limited Editions and Serialized Items

Certain products are produced as Limited Editions, meaning they are manufactured in a strictly limited quantity and will not be reissued once sold out.

Each Limited Edition item may include:

• A unique serial number engraved, printed, or marked on the item, packaging, or accompanying plaque.
• A holographic authenticity seal attached to an official RIMAU 1925 hang tag.
• An accompanying Certificate of Authenticity (COA).

Every serial number is logged in the official Rimau 1925 Collector Registry, maintained by Kr8iv Sdn Bhd.

3. Certificates of Authenticity (COA)

A Certificate of Authenticity confirms the legitimacy and origin of each collectible.

Each COA includes:

1. The official RIMAU 1925 and Kr8iv Sdn Bhd embossed seal or holographic logo.
2. The product title and edition description.
3. The serial number (if applicable).
4. A statement of verification and authenticity.
5. A signature from an authorised Kr8iv Sdn Bhd certifying representative.

Some COAs will also feature Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s autograph for designated collector editions.

4. Autographed Memorabilia

A limited selection of collectibles will include authentic signatures by Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad, verified under controlled procedures.

Each autographed item is accompanied by:

• A dedicated Certificate of Authenticity referencing the autograph.
• Its corresponding serial number and verification record.

All autographed pieces are handled, stored, and certified with great care to preserve their integrity.
The availability of such items is dependent on Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s personal schedule and discretion. Should he be unable to provide his autograph for any reason, Kr8iv Sdn Bhd shall not be held responsible, and no refunds, exchanges, or cancellations will be offered.

5. Verification Platform and Holographic Tag System

Every purchase, regardless of size or value, will include a RIMAU 1925 Holographic Hang Tag with a unique serial number.

Each serial number is linked to the buyer’s name and email in the official Rimau 1925 Collector Registry.

We will soon launch a public verification portal at rimau1925.com/verify, where anyone can:

• Enter the serial number to confirm authenticity.
• View verification status (valid/invalid).
• See the registered owner’s name only — no contact or private data will ever be displayed.

This ensures public transparency while maintaining compliance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

6. Ownership Transfer

When a registered owner sells or gifts an item, they can log in to the verification platform and securely transfer ownership using an email-based One-Time Password (OTP) system.

Once verified:

• The new owner’s details replace the previous record.
• A confirmation receipt is emailed to both parties.
• The registry is updated instantly to maintain continuity and authenticity.

This process ensures a secure, traceable, and privacy-compliant chain of ownership for every item.

7. Digital Verification and Future Integration

Kr8iv Sdn Bhd plans to introduce a digital verification and ownership system that integrates with the holographic tag network.
Features will include:

• QR or NFC tags linking directly to live product verification pages.
• Digital certificates that mirror the physical COA.
• An optional blockchain-based registry for immutable ownership tracking.

Digital releases or “phygital” (physical-digital) collectibles may also include NFT or digital certificate tokens, which can be transferred to new owners through either:

1. Smart-contract blockchain transfer (for NFT-linked editions), or
2. Email OTP digital certificate transfer (for non-blockchain editions).

Each transfer updates ownership records in both the physical and digital databases, preserving authenticity across formats.

8. Replacement Certificates

If a Certificate of Authenticity (COA) or holographic tag is lost or damaged, a replacement may be requested by emailing connect@rimau1925.com.

To process a replacement, you must provide:

• Proof of purchase or order number.
• Clear photographs of the product and serial number (if visible).
• Valid identification for verification.

Replacement COAs or tags are issued solely at the discretion of Kr8iv Sdn Bhd and may incur administrative fees.

9. Reproductions and Misuse

• Any reproduction or digital replication of RIMAU 1925 certificates, holograms, or serial numbers is strictly prohibited.
• Attempting to counterfeit or tamper with authenticity tags or COAs is a violation of this policy and applicable laws.
• Kr8iv Sdn Bhd reserves the right to revoke or invalidate certificates proven to be fraudulent or misused.

10. Verification for Auctions and Resales

Collectors wishing to resell or auction their RIMAU 1925 collectibles may request a verification confirmation prior to sale.
Verification services may include:

• Registry revalidation.
• COA and serial number confirmation.
• Reissuance of verification documents.

Administrative fees may apply based on verification complexity.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

All collector information stored within the RIMAU 1925 verification system is handled in accordance with Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
Only the owner’s name will ever appear in public search results.
Email addresses, contact details, and payment information remain strictly confidential.

13. Governing Law

This Collector’s Authenticity & Verification Policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.
Any disputes arising from or related to this policy shall be subject exclusively to the courts of Malaysia.
